People told us that staff explained all the procedures and treatments to them, and respected their decisions about their treatment and care. Comments included: “I am very pleased with my dentist, he is very good at explaining procedures and encourages me to ask questions”, "He [the dentist] takes his time and never rushes me”, “I knew exactly what treatment I was having, my options and the costs were fully discussed and explained” and “I signed a treatment plan, agreeing to the course of treatment I had”.

People who used the service told us they were happy with the care and treatment they received at the practice. People said: "The staff here are very friendly and professional; I would recommend this practice to anyone” and “The dentist is very careful, it’s as good as it gets here”.

The provider had an effective recruitment and selection procedure in place to ensure that staff were appropriately employed.

We found people received care and treatment in a clean environment with infection control measures in place to minimise the risk of infection. People we spoke with told us the practice was always clean and tidy.
