Five people completed a questionnaire about the practice. They were all very positive about the service they received. People’s comments included ‘Very good, professional and always friendly and supportive’ and ‘Excellent.’

We found that people had been involved in decisions about their treatment. They had been provided with verbal information and people had received written treatment plans for more complex or expensive treatments.

People’s needs in relation to their dental care had been assessed and a treatment plan agreed with them before they received treatment. There were arrangements to deal with medical emergencies.

We found that the surgery was clean and hygienic. There were procedures in place to manage the risk of infection that staff had followed.

We found that not all of the required information in relation to the recruitment of staff was available.

There were systems in place to monitor the quality of the service provided and to seek people’s views.
