We found people who use the service understood the care and treatment choices available to them. One patient told us "the consultation is always very thorough and detailed...the dentist also uses pictures and diagrams to discuss treatment concepts." Another patient told us " I have found the dentist to very informative each time I have needed treatment."

We found people’s needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. One patient told us "The appointments always suit my needs...the treatment plan is always personalised to me." Another patient told us "I always come out feeling I have been taken good care of" and "The treatment and costs are always flexible to my requirements."

We found people were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. During our visit we toured the practice and noted that it was clean and well maintained. We spoke with four patients who described the cleanliness of the practice as “Very clean”. One patient told us “The practice is always very clean…they really maintain high cleaning standards” Another patient told us “I found it to be always spotless, be it the surgery or the reception areas.”

Appropriate checks were undertaken before staff began work. We saw appropriate security and identity checks had been completed.
