18th April 2012 - During a routine inspection

We were not able to speak with patients because of the nature of the services being provided at the centre. The centre provides continuous professional development (CPD) training for dentists and specialist dental care to patients. Dental treatments are normally provided by postgraduate dentists in training under supervision of academic staff of the centre. We gathered evidence of people’s experiences of the service by reviewing patients’ survey, comment cards and the complaints log. We found that people who use the service were very happy with the service.
