19th September 2013 - During a routine inspection

We spoke with four people who use the service, two dentists, three dental nurses and the practice manager during our inspection.

Patients told us they were involved in decisions about their treatment and understood the associated costs before consenting to their treatment. Patients were provided with quotations for treatment options.

Patients were satisfied with their treatment. We saw patient records detailed patients' medical, oral and dental health. The service was prepared for medical emergencies.

Hygiene and infection control guidance was followed appropriately. We found the practice was clean and hygienic. Dental instruments were decontaminated appropriately.

Staff received necessary training and were supported by the manager and owner.
