3rd December 2013 - During a routine inspection
People we spoke with were very satisfied with their care and treatment at The Medical Chambers Kensington. They reported that they were treated well and understood their proposed treatment. One person told us, “they are helpful and friendly here and the doctors always listen”. Another said, “it is very good coming here; the facilities are always clean and staff very nice. My children like it too.” The latest patient satisfaction survey report was positive about people's experience. People reported that they had had their treatment explained to them and all of the respondents had confidence and had trust in their doctor. There were procedures in place to deal with emergencies and staff had been trained to manage in the event of an emergency. There were safe procedures for equipment and record keeping, and an appropriate number of staff.
25th January 2013 - During a routine inspection
People we spoke with were very satisfied with their care and treatment at The Medical Chambers Kensington. They reported that they were treated well, understood their proposed treatment and found the service “very clean”. The last patient satisfaction survey report from December 2012 was positive about people’s experience. They reported that they had had their treatment explained to them and all of the respondents had confidence and trust in their doctor. There were suitable recruitment and employment processes in place and staff were supported by the provider's systems and policies. This included the processes for granting of practicing privileges to the clinicians. People told us that they could voice their opinions about the service as well raise a concern if they had one. They were encouraged to give feedback, which was responded to by the provider and had information about the complaints process. There were processes to assess each person's suitability prior to any treatment and to ensure that people gave informed consent to treatment and care. People were cared for in a safe environment by staff who had received the necessary training. There were procedures in place to deal with emergencies and staff had been trained to manage in the event of an emergency. The centre had systems to ensure that people were protected from the risk of infection. This included staff training as well as systems for cleaning and managing waste.
5th July 2011 - During a routine inspection
We did not speak to people who use the service as part of this planned review. However we saw evidence from patient feedback that people were very satisfied with the care and treatment that received. People said that they felt safe, were well informed and very satisfied with the quality of service at The Medical Chambers Kensington.
