30th March 2012 - During a routine inspection

One person said “the dentist explained everything to me thoroughly”. Another person told us “the dentist does not rush you and gives you an opportunity to ask questions“.

People’s feedback showed that they were very pleased with the services they received. They all agreed the provider took the time to explain their condition, treatment options and the costs so they had all the information to make informed decisions. They confirmed that their privacy was always respected.

However, we found that the provider did not have adequate arrangements in place to provide validated information about the quality of the service. As a result there were possibilities that risks to people were not identified early enough for the provider to take action to eliminate or mitigate the risks.
