14th May 2013 - During a routine inspection

We were not able to speak with people who used the service. There were very few people in the clinic when we visited and it was not appropriate to ask them questions related to this service, as it was of such a personal nature. People's contact details were confidential and we could not take anyone's details to speak to them by phone after our visit. We relied on commens cards, records, information we hold about the provider and what the staff told us to form our judgements.

We saw a staff team that were passionate about their work and the difference it made to people's lives. Staff had very good specific subject knowledge and a wider understanding of how this should be applied in their everyday work. They understood the risks associated with working in the field of sexual health and family planning and took steps to mitigate against these risks.
