9th August 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with five people who used the service and they all said they were very happy with the care and treatment they had received at the dental practice. One person said, “My oral health has improved 100%.” Another person said, “They have explained the whole cleaning regime to me which has been really good.” Another person said, “They go through the measurement of pockets around my teeth so I understand what is happening.” Another person said, “It’s very good, in fact it’s excellent.”

Staff told us people received good care and treatment, and their needs were appropriately met. They said people who used the service received support which was planned to make sure it met their individual circumstances.

We looked at a number of records and audits which confirmed regular checks were being carried out to ensure the service was safe and effective.

People were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff.
