3rd January 2014 - During a routine inspection

We spoke to two people using the service. One person said “I am very happy with this practice. The dentist is very patient and gentle and always explains what he is doing as he goes along”. The other person said “This is only my second visit here. The dentist takes time to explain things to me. I think its fine so far”.

We found people’s views were taken into account in the way the service was provided in relation to their treatment.

We found that the people were being protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.

We found there was an effective complaints system available.
