7th November 2017 - During a routine inspection
We carried out this announced inspection on 7 November 2017 under Section 60 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 as part of our regulatory functions. We planned the inspection to check whether the registered provider was meeting the legal requirements in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated regulations. The inspection was led by a CQC inspector who was supported by a specialist dental adviser.
To get to the heart of patients’ experiences of care and treatment, we always ask the following five questions:
• Is it safe?
• Is it effective?
• Is it caring?
• Is it responsive to people’s needs?
• Is it well-led?
These questions form the framework for the areas we look at during the inspection.

28th March 2012 - During a routine inspection
Although we did not speak to patients during our visit, we saw the results of the most recent patient survey that was carried out between October and December 2011. All respondents rated the quality of care received, the politeness of staff and the attention to patient safety as excellent. We also saw some of the comments made by patients. These included " Many thanks to you and your staff for all the kindness shown in giving me back my smile" and "Many thanks for all your hard work shown to me during my many visits". One patient, who said she had been nervous, commented "The dedication they showed to me was fantastic. It only took the one appointment to convince me that I was in safe hands and my care always came first".
