As part of the inspection we obtained the views of eight people who used the service by asking them to complete a questionnaire on the day of our visit. They all told us that they were happy with the service provided. People said: “I did my research before deciding on the practice, everything was explained to me regarding the procedure” and “I used to have a fear of dentists and I don’t any more.”

We looked at the paper and computer care records for four people. We found the records contained information including discussions about a person's treatment to ensure that they had the treatment that was acceptable and appropriate to them.

Systems and equipment were in place to ensure that people were treated in a clean and hygienic environment, with a separate decontamination room that was restricted to staff only.

The people who completed a questionnaire told us that the practice was clean and that they were asked to wear protective equipment such as goggles and an apron.

The reception area was bright, clean and comfortable.
