We carried out an announced comprehensive inspection at Practice 2, Medical Centre, Bridlington on 5 November 2015. The overall rating for the practice was good. This inspection was a desk-based review carried out on 29 September 2017 to confirm that the practice had carried out their plan to meet the legal requirements in relation to the breaches in regulations that we identified in our previous inspection on 5 November 2015. This report covers our findings in relation to those requirements.
Overall the practice is rated as good.
Our key findings were as follows:
Arrangements were in place to assess and manage the risks of and minimise the spread of health care associated infections.
Appropriate recruitment checks had been undertaken prior to staff being employed.
Arrangements were in place to monitor the use of blank prescriptions.
However there were areas of practice where the provider should make improvements:
