We spoke with two people who were attending the practice. They both told us they were always given a copy of their treatment plan that showed the cost of the treatment. They told us they felt respected by the staff and were fully involved in the decisions about their dental care and treatment.

People were complimentary about the dental care and treatment they received and one person told us: "I travel quite a way to see my dentist, because I have always been satisfied with the care and treatment I get here, the staff are so friendly and the place has a good atmosphere."

Another person told us:"I have been coming here for years, the staff know me. My dentist may have changed but I know they are a reliable team and I don't feel so anxious coming to the dentist anymore."

The practice had three surgeries that were accessible for people with mobility difficulties. The practice manager made available all the records we asked to see. They had systems in place to monitor and reduce cross infection, safeguard vulnerable people and investigate complaints. There was the opportunity for people to air their views through the patient satisfaction survey and leave their comments in the suggestion box. We saw that the information gathered was used to improve quality of care.
