3rd June 2013 - During a routine inspection
During the inspection on 3 June 2013 we spoke with eight people who were patients in the surgery who were all very happy with the dental care they received. One person said, "I am exceedingly happy. I have been seen by the dentist as an emergency and the filling has been completed." Another person said, "The dentist goes through meticulously and I am told about all the costs". Another person told us they lived in a different town but had chosen to be treated in the Tebbutts Road surgery because of a recommendation. There were dental care items available for people to purchase if they wished. One dentist commented that some patients had told them they felt the surgery looked tired and needed repainting. The practice manager said that the building was going to be re decorated this year. There was a water cooler available for people waiting for their appointments. Cleanliness and infection prevention was well managed and staff were competent in ensuring the risk of infection was reduced.
