People told us that staff explained all the procedures and treatments to them and respected their decisions about their treatment and care. Comments included; “The dentist is very good at explaining everything to me,” “I was always nervous about visiting the dentist, but because of the staff’s attitude here, I am much more relaxed,” “All the costs and treatment options were explained, the dentist told me to go away and think about the dental work I needed, before I agreed to it,” and “I signed a treatment plan, agreeing to the treatment.”

People who used the service told us they were happy with the care and treatment they received at the practice. People said, "All the staff here are very friendly,” “ Staff are very good with children,” “ I have no worries about coming here all the staff are very good “ and “ I trust the dentist, I find the staff friendly ,I am in good hands when I come here.”

The provider had an effective recruitment and selection procedure in place to ensure that staff were appropriately employed.

We found people received care and treatment in a clean environment with infection control measures in place to minimise the risk of infection. People we spoke with told us the practice was always clean.

The provider had an appropriate system in place for gathering, recording and evaluating information about the quality and safety of care the service provided. People who used the service were asked for their views about their care and treatment.
