30th January 2014 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

The patients who used the service told us that they were happy with the care and treatment they received. We were told that the staff “Were very efficient, and were kind and caring”, We were told “That the quality of the work was good” and that “they would not go anywhere else”. People said that they knew how much the charges would be prior to treatment.

People had been provided with information about the service, opening times and the costs. People had a treatment plan that had been discussed with them. There were systems in place to minimise the risk and control the spread of infection. Staff had been provided with relevant training for the work they did and this included, Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training that had been updated annually. There were systems in place for assessing and monitoring the quality of service.

Patients who received conscious sedation were treated by qualified staff and the surgery had a recovery area where they were supervised by suitably qualified staff until they were well enough to leave the surgery.
