21st August 2018 - During a routine inspection
![]() We carried out this announced inspection on 21 August 2018 under Section 60 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 as part of our regulatory functions. We planned the inspection to check whether the registered provider was meeting the legal requirements in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and associated regulations. The inspection was led by a CQC inspector who was supported by a specialist dental adviser.
To get to the heart of patients’ experiences of care and treatment, we always ask the following five questions:

• Is it effective?
• Is it caring?
• Is it responsive to people’s needs?
• Is it well-led?
These questions form the framework for the areas we look at during the inspection.

3rd December 2012 - During a routine inspection
![]() People who used the service told us that they were provided with good information about treatment options and the associated costs and were able to ask all the questions they wanted to. People told us they felt they had enough time and information to make decisions about their treatments. Comments included; "The dentist always explains to me what treatment I need", "They put me at ease, both of them are brilliant” and "I get a treatment plan that tells me about my treatment and what it costs". People told us that staff were "Friendly" "Professional" and "Kind and polite". People said they were treated with respect. One person told us that they thought the service was "Excellent" whilst another person said "I have been coming here for years and have had no problems with this practice". People said that the appointment system worked well and that the service was clean and comfortable.
