23rd October 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with two people who had been patients for approximately twenty five years. Both expressed their satisfaction with the services provided by Mrs Sida-Murray. One person had brought their children to the surgery and said that the dentist was: "very good with children".

One person told us that they travelled a long way to come to the surgery and said they did so because the service was: "outstanding". They also said that Mrs Sida-Murray "encourages you and tells you how to look after your teeth."

Before people received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes.

Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare.

People were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. A patient described the surgery as "very clean".

There was an effective complaints system available. There had been no complaints in the last year and the Care Quality Commission had not received any expressions of concern.
