11th January 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

The practice provided orthodontic treatment for children and young adults that meant they were assessed and fitted with a brace, after they were referred to the practice by their own dentist. We spoke with parents and young adults who were in the waiting room. Everyone confirmed they were totally satisfied on how they had been referred to the practice for their treatment. One person told us they travelled quite a long distance and the staff accommodated them by making convenient appointments for them.

People told us they were given enough information about their options and were able to ask all the questions they wanted. Their comments included ..."Service is excellent... explains what he will do.... don't wait too long." One person told us: "I am really glad I was referred here, because the dentist explains everything and the staff are so kind, there is no reason to complain."

Parents of young people told us the dentist knew how to involve and relate to their children by explaining their options and putting them at ease.

We were told that the practice was always clean and that people had no concerns about their safety or treatment.
