14th November 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

During our announced inspection on 14 November 2013 we spoke to one of the three dentists working that day, the practice manager, three members of staff and two people who used the service.

People told us they were given good information about their treatment and knew what to expect. They said that they were given treatment options, informed about any associated risks in respect of their treatment and told any potential costs.

People told us they were treated well at this practice and they were happy with the service provided. One person we spoke to said; "They are absolutely first class, gold star.”

We saw certificates to confirm that all staff received regular training on infection control.

Staff told us they enjoyed working at the practice, one nurse told us; β€œIt’s obvious from the length of time that I have been working here that I enjoy it. The people and the patients are great.”

We spoke to staff and it was clear they knew how to deal with complaints and that they could escalate them appropriately if they were not able to resolve the complaint themselves.
