4th August 2011 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made pdf icon

Patients told us that they were happy staying at the Manthorpe Centre and the staff looked after then very well.

They told us that staff involve them in making decisions about improving their surroundings, and their privacy and dignity is maintained.

One patient told us ‘we helped to choose colours for the walls when they decorated’. Other patients told us that the ward is ‘nice and comfortable’.

1st January 1970 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

Patients and a relative spoke positively about the care and treatment in the unit. We saw that there was positive interaction between staff and patients, and the ward sister treated patients and staff respectfully and with warmth.
