22nd October 2013 - During a routine inspection

During and after our visit we spoke with four patients about their care and treatment. Everyone we spoke with told us that the dentist they saw discussed the treatment options that were available to them.

There were arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies. We saw that the practice had emergency drugs and oxygen available which may be needed to deal with any medical emergencies should they arise.

We saw that the practice had effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. We spoke with one patient who said "It is always clean here".

We saw that the practice kept records which showed that specialist equipment had been regularly maintained and certificated.
