18th June 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with two people who used the service. Both people told us they were very satisfied with the care and treatment received. One person told us, "the dentist gave me clear options for my treatment". A detailed medical history was taken for each person and discussed during the appointment.

The service gave people suitable information about the services available and costs of treatments. This information was provided in the waiting room. Also the two people we spoke with told us treatments and costs were discussed with the dentist.

We found people received care and treatment in a clean environment. There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk of infection. Staff were able to describe the decontamination process to us and provided evidence to show that checks were carried out on equipment used.

All staff were trained and supported to undertake their roles. People told us they felt well treated by competent professionals.

People were given information about how to complain. The provider systematically reviewed and responded to complaints.
