26th March 2013 - During a routine inspection

We found that staff and the dentists ensured that people were fully informed about their dental care and treatment and ensured consent was always gained before carrying out any work. We found that appropriate risk assessments were in place to protect people from harm and care and treatment was clearly planned.

We found that staff were supported in their role and received the necessary training and supervision to work effectively. We also found that complaints were managed effectively and lessons were learnt where possible.

We spoke with two people who used the service and they said "the dentist explained procedures clearly" and they "had no complaints."
