5th February 2014 - During a routine inspection
![]() We visited The Brooker Centre at Halton Hospital, part of Five Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The unit consists of two wards, Weaver for female adult in patients and Bridge for male adult in patients. People spoke positively about their experience at the unit, stating “the staff members are fine” and during out visit we observed staff interacting with people on the wards. People had a full and clear understanding of their individual programmes of care and treatment. They commented that they felt they were given sufficient details and answers to any questions they may have, which they felt allowed them to make informed decisions. They understood the care and treatment choices available to them and were given appropriate information and support regarding their care or treatment.
