10th April 2013 - During a routine inspection
We spoke with one person who used the service. This person told us they were always treated well, were able to book convenient appointments and were aware of costs. This person said, “I have been coming here for years, it's fab.” We looked at testimonials written by people who had used the service which were displayed in a folder in reception. Comments made included, ‘Thoroughly recommend’, ‘Staff professional, patient and kind at all times’ and ‘Explained the procedure every step of the way.’ We found that staff were polite and friendly and people who used the service were treated with dignity and respect. We found that people were protected from the risk of infection as care was delivered in a clean and hygienic environment. We found there was an effective complaints system in place at the home.
