We spoke to six people who used the service. They told us they were satisfied with the care and treatment provided by the dentist. People said the dentist had discussed a range of options prior to providing treatment. They were able to choose the treatment they preferred. One person said, “I am very much involved and consulted in any treatment that I need.” A second person said, “The dentist gives me time to consider any proposed treatment options.” A third person said, “The dentist explains the treatment options which are available. She then leaves it to me to make the final decision.” A fourth person said, “The dentist provides me with detailed information about my treatment. If I am unsure about the information I can ask questions.”

People said, “The practice was very clean and tidy”. One person said, “The cleanliness of the surgery is superb.”

People said they were aware of how to make a complaint. However, they have never had the need to make one.

We found the service had procedures in place to protect people from the risk of abuse. The service operated in a clean environment to prevent the spread of infection. People were looked after by staff who were appropriately recruited. There was a procedure in place to ensure complaints were responded to appropriately.
