Our key findings were:
10th October 2013 - During a routine inspection
We spoke with two people who use the service, the dental nurse and dentist during this inspection. People told us that they were satisfied with the services provided and said "we are very happy with the service", "the dentist checks my medical history, checks my teeth and talks with me about any treatment required", "the dentist explains things to me", "it's always clean" and "the dentist always wears gloves". People said staff respected their privacy and spoke with them in the treatment room. The nurse told us they had the necessary checks before they started work, had the training and support they needed to do their job and had the necessary equipment to keep the treatment room clean. We saw that the treatment room and reception area were clean and tidy. We saw that people were welcomed into the reception area. The dentist took time to speak with people about what they needed to do to maintain their oral hygiene and discussed any treatments needed and the fees.
