2nd July 2013 - During a routine inspection

Patients and their parents were involved in their treatment and their risks were assessed and minimised. There were arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies. A parent told us "there's a very good out of hours service." All of the drugs and most of the equipment recommended by the Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) were in place.

There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. The practice had a separate decontamination room and the processes were audited regularly.

Arrangements were in place to protect people using services against the unsafe use and management of medicines.

The practice had systems in place to assess and monitor the quality of the service and patients were happy with the treatment received. A parent of children using the service described Dr Levinkind as "very kind, very professional."
