16th July 2013 - During a routine inspection
The patients we spoke with were happy with the treatment provided by Dentalign Orthodontics- Marlow and made various positive comments about the service. These included "The staff are very helpful, the dentists ensures I am not in pain. I have always found them to be polite and friendly.” and "They always treat you with respect and dignity.” Patients told us treatment options and costs were explained to them and they were able to make an informed decision about the dental care and treatment. One person told us "We were given a very thorough consultation and also provided with plenty of literature to take away.” We found patients were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment. Patients told us they found the overall practice clean and thought the treatment and consultation room was very clean and hygienic. One person told us “The practice is always clean and tidy.” Another person told us “I feel I am in a very clean environment when I come here." We found people were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff. The five patients we spoke with were aware of how to make a complaint. The patients we spoke with did not express any concern about the care and treatment they had received. One patient told us “I have never complained as I have no reason to do so” and “I have no cause for concerns about the practice.”
