5th March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We carried out this inspection to check on the care and welfare of people using this service. To ensure that we had time to speak to staff working at the practice, as well as people visiting the practice, we arranged the visit in advance.

On the day of the inspection we spoke with the provider, three staff members and one person who used the service. After the inspection we contacted a further two people who used the service to get their feedback.

The practice had a contract with the NHS to provide NHS dental care to children and exempt groups. Outside of this contract people paid for private dental treatment.

We spoke to people who had attended the surgery for consultations or treatment. All of the people we spoke with told us they had visited this surgery for a number of years and were happy with the treatment they received. They told us the staff were always pleasant, the practice was clean and appointments were arranged at a convenient time to them.

One person told us, “I am very happy with the service. I am happy with the way things are explained to me. I have never needed to make a complaint”.
