24th January 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

People using the service said that they were satisfied with it and way it was provided. "I hate having crowns done, but the way the dentist did them I'm thinking of having more done ". "I'm always very happy with my treatment". They had the consultation procedure, treatments and their costs fully explained to them. This included any risks attached to treatments. They told us they were treated with dignity and respect by and felt safe using the service. They did not tell us about the practice infection control systems. They did tell us they thought the practice was kept clean and tidy. They knew how to complain and who to.

We saw that they had access to enough information to make an informed decision about the treatment available and if they wished to proceed with it. Records including medical history, treatment plans and notes were kept and updated and the practice was clean, tidy and well maintained. There were suitable processes in place for infection control and a complaints procedure.
