14th November 2012 - During a routine inspection
We spoke with three people using the service during our inspection. Without exception all the people we spoke with told us that the service was welcoming and comfortable. They told us that the service was orderly and clean and the staff were kind, considerate and thoughtful. We observed that the staff were friendly and welcoming to people using the service. People’s appointments were on time and staff respected people’s privacy and dignity. We saw that there was an efficient system within the laboratory that ensured medical practitioners and people using the service received the test results promptly.
20th October 2011 - During a routine inspection
People who spoke to us indicated that they had experienced a positive service from the staff. The service was described as “First class” and “Fantastic.” Staff were said to be very personable, friendly and provided information related to the taking of blood for tests. Results of blood tests were said to be made available very promptly. All respondents indicted that the service received had been speedy, with no delays in appointment times.
