31st January 2014 - During a routine inspection

Patients spoken with told us that they were given appropriate information and support regarding their care and treatment.

We saw that patient’s notes, treatment plans and records of their medical and dental history contained clear and relevant information.

We saw that there were appropriate arrangements in place to ensure the safeguarding of adults and children.

We saw that there was appropriate equipment available and effective processes were in place for cleaning, decontaminating and sterilizing instruments.

We looked at records that showed us staff pre-employment checks had been undertaken. Staff spoken with told us that they received appropriate professional development and training to help them to do their job properly and safely.
