20th March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

We spoke with four people who had recently used the service. We also spoke to a health practitioner who had referred patients to the service.

People told us that they were happy with the quality of service they had received. They told us that staff had supported them in a professional and timely manner. A person told us “I am delighted with the service I received.”

People told us that they had not had to wait long for their appointments and that they had been given a choice of appointment times. A person told us “Staff phoned me to arrange the time of my scan. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours, they were very accommodating.”

People told us that they were happy with the information given to them prior to their appointments. They told us that they had been provided with all of the information that they needed. A person told us “Staff explained everything to me. They told me what would happen during the scan and how long it would take.”

People told us that staff had supported them well during their appointments. They told us that staff had made them feel comfortable and had explained things well. A person told us “They made sure that I was comfortable throughout the scan, I was well looked after.”

People told us that they had found the clinic to be clean and hygienic. A person told us “The clinic was spotlessly clean.”
