15th February 2013 - During a routine inspection

People told us they were very satisfied with the care and treatment provided at Oasis Dental Care, Garstang. They had been involved in their treatment plan and had discussed their options before their treatment started.

We were also told that the environment was clean and tidy. One person told us, "As far as I can see all the correct equipment is used. For any lengthy procedure I wear full protective equipment. It always looks clean and tidy". Another person said, "Just watching today I saw the nurse getting fresh equipment and washing her hands. It's comforting to know that this is inbuilt within the practice. Everything does look spotless".

People told us they found the staff to be friendly and they were treated with dignity and respect. We also found an effective system in place to identify, assess and manage risks to the health and safety of people using the service and others.
