14th March 2013 - During a routine inspection pdf icon

During this inspection we conducted telephone interviews with four people who used the service. We spoke with one dentist, two dental nurses and the manager.

People told us that they were fully involved in making decisions about their treatment. We found that people had the information they needed to help them make informed choices about their treatment.

People told us that they had no concerns about the care and treatment that they received from the dentists at this practice. One person told us, “My daughter recommended them and they are very good. “ We found that people experienced care, treatment and support that met their needs and protected their rights.

People we spoke with had no concerns about the cleanliness of the environment. We found that people received care and treatment in a clean and hygienic environment.

People told us that the staff were friendly. We found that staff were trained and supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard.

People that we spoke with told us that they were happy with the standard of treatment they received. One person told us, “I have no reason to complain, they are efficient.” We found that the provider had an effective system in place to monitor the service to ensure that people received a quality service.
