7th January 2013 - During a routine inspection
On the day of our visit there was only one of the two dentists working. We spoke with a patient following their consultation and they were very happy with the service. They confirmed that their dentist always explained what they were doing, what they had found during the examination and what the available treatment options were. They also confirmed that they had received information to enable them to decide upon different treatment options and had been referred promptly for some aspects of their treatment. We saw, and were told by a person using the service, that the practice was kept "very clean" and staff always wore protective equipment when treating them. Feedback from surveys we looked at during the visit indicated that people using the practice were happy with the service they received. We saw that information on fees was clearly displayed for people to see and the person who spoke with us was aware of the the cost of their treatments. We were told: “Staff are really friendly and try to put you at ease.”
