22nd May 2013 - During an inspection to make sure that the improvements required had been made
![]() This report is a follow up to our report published in April 2013. We inspected this provider on the 7th February 2013, when we noted some issues which had a minor impact on people using the service. These related to infection control and records auditing carried out by the provider and to the records maintained. With regard to record keeping, we set a compliance action requiring the provider to take steps to comply with Regulation 20 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010. We made a further visit on the 22nd May 2013 to check on the action the provider had taken to meet the requirements of the regulation. We found that the provider had taken appropriate and sufficient action to comply with the regulation.
7th February 2013 - During a routine inspection
![]() The two people we interviewed told us they felt respected and informed about their treatment. They told us “They are very clever and make things clear to me”. “The practice is very clean and tidy, I notice that they always wear gloves and masks when treating me.” We observed high standards of customer care. The staff were respectful, attentive and helpful. The surgery was seen to be clean and comfortable for all users. We saw evidence of post graduate specialities that were offered to patients by part time attending dentists. Attention to administration and checks were incomplete in some areas. The provider told us that more training would be offered to her staff to ensure compliance with some of the less well understood regulations.
