15th January 2014 - During a routine inspection
![]() People who attended the clinic were given appropriate information regarding their care or treatment. People were given time to consider options so that they could make an informed decision about their planned treatment. Care and treatment records were up-to date and reflected each time a person had attended the clinic for treatment or a consultation. There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. The clinic was clean and well maintained and staff had received infection control training. There were regular on-going training sessions and clinical competency assessments in place to ensure that staff safely delivered care and support to people. The provider had processes and procedures in place to monitor the quality of service provision.
19th February 2013 - During a routine inspection
![]() One person we spoke with told us, "It's outstanding here. The environment definitely helps and the use of a small site." Another person said that the staff were, "...good at monitoring." Both people told us they had been given a questionnaire to complete each time they had attended to check if there was anything that could be improved. One of them told us there had been changes as a result of comments made about being provided with a more substantial snack after treatment. There had been training provided in safeguarding vulnerable adults and staff said the course had been very useful. The complaints system was effective and information was recorded appropriately.
23rd March 2012 - During a routine inspection
![]() People told us that they had received detailed information about the service and a full explanation of the procedures that were involved. People told us that they had been given time to discuss their treatment and ask questions during their assessment consultation. People told us that all consent to treatment had been explained and that forms had been appropriately completed.
