7th October 2013 - During a routine inspection
All of the eleven patients we spoke with gave us positive feedback about the hospital. A patient said, “I think that the staff are wonderful to us. They’ll always try to help and they’re nice about it too. It’s a friendly sort of place.” Another patient said, “The hospital has exceeded my expectations.” We saw that patients had been given accurate information about the fees they would have to pay. Records showed that patients had been correctly charged for the treatment, care and rehabilitation they had received. Patients said that they received all of the treatment and care they needed. Records confirmed that clinical, nursing and rehabilitation services had been provided in a safe, reliable and responsive way. Documents and records showed that medicines were ordered, stored, administered and disposed of in a safe way. We found that there were enough doctors, nurses and ancillary staff on duty to enable patients to receive all the assistance they needed. We saw that there were measures to check that patients were reliably provided with the facilities and services they needed.

22nd March 2012 - During a themed inspection looking at Termination of Pregnancy Services
We did not speak to people who used this service as part of this review. We looked at a random sample of medical records. This was to check that current practice ensured that no treatment for the termination of pregnancy was commenced unless two certificated opinions from doctors had been obtained.
