As Beechwood Hall is the headquarters of Inhealth we were unable to observe clinical practice or speak to people using the service. Instead we spoke with the chief executive, director of clinical governance, head of operations, staff from human resources, recruitment, clinical governance, training and mobile planning. Also, we looked at policies and considered various areas of evidence to assess compliance.

Processes were in place to recruit staff and support training and clinical practice. Staff at Beechwood Hall had a good knowledge of their role and showed enthusiasm for the provider and the quality of service provided.

We were unable to observe frontline staff but we saw that the provider had policies and processes in place to obtain consent, maintain equipment, deliver services using radiation and monitor infection control.

Systems were in place to audit the effectiveness, quality and safety of care. There was a process in place to report incidents and receive complaints and evidence that action was taken as a result.
