We spoke with one person who was using the service at the time of our inspection. They said they were very happy with the care and treatment they received at the practice. They said they had been registered for a number of years and that they were involved in decisions about their care, given clear information about the treatment options available to them and gave consent accordingly. All treatment prices were fully explained. They said that the dentist checked their medical history at each visit. They said they would recommend the practice to others and added that although they had moved away from the area they chose to stay with the dentist because they felt the care they received was very good.

We also looked at patient feedback results, which revealed a high rate of satisfaction with the care people received at Basildon Dental Practice. We observed excellent customer service taking place, with staff treating people with respect and warmth.

We found that the provider was compliant with all of the standards we inspected. People received excellent care and service from a practice that was responsive to the needs of its patients.
