We carried out an announced comprehensive inspection at Ailsa Craig Medical Centre on 13 August 2015. The overall rating for the practice was good, with a requires improvement rating for the key question of safe and we issued a requirement notice for breaches of Regulation 17 of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 (Good governance). This inspection was a desk-based review carried out on 1 November 2017 to confirm that the practice had carried out their plan to meet the legal requirements in relation to the breach identified in the requirement notice.

1st January 1970 - During an annual regulatory review
We reviewed the information available to us about Ailsa Craig Medical Centre on 11 April 2019. We did not find evidence of significant changes to the quality of service being provided since the last inspection. As a result, we decided not to inspect the surgery at this time. We will continue to monitor this information about this service throughout the year and may inspect the surgery when we see evidence of potential changes.
