3rd February 2014 - During a routine inspection
People told us that they were happy with the service provided and that their dignity was maintained and their privacy protected. They said that they were encouraged to ask questions and they felt that staff had the time to answer them. People reported that staff were good at discussing all their treatment options with them. One person told us, "I’ve had two veneers put on, I’m obsessed about teeth and this is singularly the best dentist I’ve been to" and that, "it is calming, welcoming and very clean – I’m enthused about this place". Another patient told us that “They always explain costs and give you a full break down. They explain what treatment they can offer and give me the option of what I’d like to do” We found that the practice listened to patients and that the treatment provided was recorded. Overall we found that the practice had good systems in place for ensuring cleanliness and hygiene was maintained and, that staff were adequately supported.
